The 4th Pattaya Short Film Contest
Under the theme of "Sustainability," the competition offers total prize money of 340,000 baht.
The competition is divided into two categories.
– Short film genre, with Thai audio.
– Short film category with foreign language audio.
The committee has completed the selection process for the second round of short film submissions.
The following is a list of the entries and teams that have passed the second round of selection:
– Short film genre with Thai audio:
Thirteen teams were selected, including:
1. Regarding Consequences, from the SneakPeak Pictures team.
2. A 3-day, 2-night trip from the Underlife team.
3. The topic is "Mother Tongue," from the Bozo Gazano team.
4. The story "The Last Summer" from the G Smart team.
5. The story "A Boy's Beliefs," from Klaewklad Production.
6. The story is "Stuntman's Chicken Rice" from the Goduction team.
7. The song "I wish I saw your face" is from Notbadbutnotgood production.
8. "Sun-Kissed Dreams" by the Jo Yai Phra Pradaeng team.
9. Same Day, Same Shore (That Day of the Year) from Bandon Film.
10. The story "Sustainable Love" from the WatDidWedoo team.
11. The film "Sala Haeng Rak" (The Pavilion of Love) by Siam Tech Film Team.
12. Memory Tour by the SWAG team.
13. The "Frugal Person Award" from the Ames Produck team.
Details of the short film competition final round.
1. A total of 20 teams from both categories will be selected to advance to the final round and participate in the judging event on August 27, 2026, at SF CINEMA Central Pattaya Beach, 6th floor. All 20 teams will receive awards, with each team sending a representative to collect the prizes on the day of the event (details of the event will be announced later).
2. Contestants may revise their submitted short films or keep them as they are, depending on their preference and discretion. The short film must be at least 5 minutes long and no more than 10 minutes (including the project title at the beginning and closing credits). The logos of the participating organizations must be included in the title sequence of the short film, in the order specified by the project.
3. The submitted work must not be a reproduction, modification, or previous use for any other purpose. Furthermore, the submitted work must not have been previously published or received any awards. If this is discovered, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant immediately.
4. Short film entries must be submitted as MP4 files in Full HD (1920x1080, 16:9 aspect ratio) or 2K (2048x1152, 16:9 aspect ratio). Please ensure the files are complete and correct. The organizers will not be responsible for any errors or file damage.
5. The winning entries (1st to 3rd place) become the copyright of the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development Administration (Public Organization).
6. The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development Administration (Public Organization) reserves the right to change the details and conditions of the contest without prior notice, and reserves the right to review the suitability of the content before publishing it to the public.
7. The committee's decision shall be final.
8. Submission of entries for the final round of the competition: Entries must be submitted between August 6-15, 2026 via email to dastashortfilm4@gmail.com. Please include the film title and team name in the email.
Note: After the announcement of the results of the second round of selection to advance to the final round, the project will send an email notifying the contestants who have passed the selection. Selected contestants are requested to reply to this email to confirm receipt of the results and their eligibility to participate in the final round. Furthermore, in this revised submission, contestants must include the organization's logo as specified by the project, in the order shown in the example that will be sent in the email.
