On June 16-17, 2026, the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DAST) Pattaya, in collaboration with Pattaya City and the Tonkla Rak Lok Foundation, organized the "Changing Climate Changing Lives (CCCL) Film Festival 2026" at the Holy Redeemer Technological College, Pattaya, and Good Friday Experiment Social Club in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. Mr. Kris Phumisuvarn, Manager of the DAST Pattaya and Connecting Areas Office, presided over the opening ceremony. Attendees included Dr. Siwat Boonkird, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City, Pattaya City officials, teachers and students from Holy Redeemer Technological College, environmental conservation networks, and local residents. The festival aimed to disseminate and raise awareness of creative and sustainable environmental conservation through short films, as well as to promote awareness of natural resource and environmental conservation among participants. Short films reflecting environmental issues and global warming were screened, and participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas on environmental conservation. This event not only stimulated local environmental conservation but also promoted Pattaya's image as a preparing city for becoming a creative film hub.
