The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development (DASTDA), in collaboration with Pattaya City, organized the "Workshop on Project Development under the Creative City Film Plan 2021" at the Napalai Meeting Room, Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel. Mr. Banlue Kullavanich, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, presided over the opening ceremony. Mr. Sutharak Sunthornwipat, Manager of DASTDA Region 3, presented the workshop's objectives. Also in attendance were Mr. Rattanachai Sutthidechanai, expert and advisor to the Mayor of Pattaya City; Lieutenant Commander Pramote Thabthim, Acting Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City; Mr. Seri Champaeng, Director of the Tourism Promotion Office; and heads of various offices from Pattaya City. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The meeting aimed to bring together Pattaya City and the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development Authority Region 3 (DASTDA Region 3) to develop a framework for driving Pattaya towards becoming a Creative City in Film, as well as to establish a budget framework for projects in line with the government's policy under the strategy of promoting the economy through creative tourism. DASTDA Region 3 invited experts in strategic planning and tourism development to exchange ideas and provide guidance in preparing for the development of a Creative City in Film. Following the meeting, DASTDA Region 3 will submit the developed project plan to Pattaya City for inclusion in the 5-year development plan. DASTDA Region 3 will then review the action plan within the Master Plan for the Management and Development of the Special Economic Zone of Pattaya and its Connecting Areas (2023-2027) to serve as a guideline for driving Pattaya towards becoming a Creative City of Film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
