          The Designated Area Office 3 (DOA 3), in collaboration with the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization), held an online meeting to discuss strategies for transforming Pattaya into a Creative City of Film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          At the meeting, the Designated Areas for Sustainable Development (DAST) Region 3 presented its efforts to drive and upgrade Pattaya's development towards membership in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) for film. It also presented activities for developing a Creative City film program to be included in the 5-year Pattaya City Development Plan (2023-2027) and the Strategic Plan for the Management and Development of the Pattaya Special Economic Zone and its Connecting Areas (2023-2027). On this occasion, the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) participated in exchanging ideas on Creative City development and presented its operational plan, including the application process for UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) membership. They also presented Bangkok, a model Creative City selected for the Design Creative Cities Network, as a potential candidate.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

         The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development Region 3 (DASTDA 3) will take the guidelines from this meeting and coordinate with relevant agencies, including Pattaya City, the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Policy Office, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the Ministry of Culture, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization), to jointly drive Pattaya towards becoming a Creative City of Film. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
