เมื่อวันที่ 30 มกราคม 2569 อพท.พัทยา ร่วมกับเมืองพัทยา จัดประชุมคณะกรรมการขับเคลื่อนเมืองพัทยาสู่เมืองสร้างสรรค์ด้านภาพยนตร์ของยูเนสโก ครั้งที่ 1/2569 โดยนายปรเมศวร์ งามพิเชษฐ์ นายกเมืองพัทยา เป็นประธานการประชุมฯ นางสาวกฤติกา ชัชวาลย์ ผจก.อพท.พัทยา พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี ผู้แทนท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดชลบุรี ผู้แทน สกพอ.สายงานพัฒนาพื้นที่และชุมชน สสปน. สมาคมเครือข่ายผู้สร้างสรรค์วิชาชีพสื่อบันเทิงไทย สภาอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดชลบุรี สมาคมสมาพันธ์ท่องเที่ยวชลบุรี หน่วยงานภาคีที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วมประชุมฯ ณ ห้องประชุมไบรท์ตัน แกรนด์ พัทยา จังหวัดชลบุรี
การประชุมครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรายงานผลและติดตามผลการดำเนินการขับเคลื่อนเมืองพัทยาสู่เมืองสร้างสรรค์ด้านภาพยนตร์ พ.ศ.2569 ในการบูรณาการความร่วมมือจากหน่วยงานต่างๆ เพื่อหารือแนวทางการจัดงาน Pattaya Film Festival 2026 และนำเสนอ (ร่าง) ใบสมัครเครือข่ายเมืองสร้างสรรค์ (Creative Cities Network) ภายใต้องค์ประกอบการเป็นเครือข่ายเมืองสร้างสรรค์ด้านภาพยนตร์ของยูเนสโกต่อไป
On January 30, 2026, DASTA Pattaya, in collaboration with Pattaya City, convened the 1st/2026 Meeting of the Committee for Driving Pattaya Toward a UNESCO Creative City of Film.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, and attended by Ms. Krittika Chatchawan, Manager of DASTA Pattaya. Also in attendance were representatives from the Chonburi Provincial Cultural Office, the Chonburi Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) – Area and Community Development Division, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the Thai Entertainment Professional Creators Network Association, the Tourism Council of Chonburi, the Chonburi Tourism Federation, and relevant partner agencies. The meeting was held at the Brighton Grand Hotel Pattaya, Chonburi Province.
The objective of this meeting was to report on and monitor the progress of the 2026 initiative to drive Pattaya toward becoming a Creative City of Film. Discussions focused on integrating cooperation across various agencies to outline plans for the Pattaya Film Festival 2026 and to present the draft application for the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) under the “City of Film” category.
