The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development (DASTDA), led by Mr. Kris Phumisuvarn, Deputy Manager of DASTDA Region 3, met with Associate Professor Dr. Peeradorn Kaewlai, a lecturer from the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University, and an expert in driving creative city development, to discuss strategies for transforming Pattaya into a Creative City of Film.

During the discussions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peeradorn Kaewlai proposed that the Designated Areas for Sustainable Development (DAST) and Pattaya City hold small group meetings with the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and the Board of Investment (BOI) to discuss the direction of promoting the creative economy. Furthermore, DAST Region 3 and Pattaya City plan to organize awareness-raising activities on transforming Pattaya into a Creative Film City, inviting Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peeradorn Kaewlai as a speaker to share his knowledge and raise awareness among the public and businesses in the area, ultimately leading to the development of Pattaya into a Creative Film City.
