เมืองพัทยา บูรณาการขับเคลื่อนเมืองพัทยาสู่เมืองสร้างสรรค์ด้านภาพยนตร์

On November 22, 2022, the Special Area Development Office 3, along with related agencies, participated in the 1st meeting of the Committee for Driving Pattaya City Towards Becoming a UNESCO Creative City of Film. Mr. Parames Ngampicheth, Mayor of Pattaya, chaired the meeting at the Napalai Meeting Room, Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel.

The conference featured presentations on various topics from expert speakers, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anucha Teerakhanon, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Thammasat University; Ms. Savitree Suwannasathit, a specialist from the Ministry of Culture; and teams from Wanderer Picture Co., Ltd. and Retina Film Production Co., Ltd., which film in Pattaya. They shared their experiences regarding the benefits and impacts of developing Pattaya into a film city, aiming to inspire local communities to be creative in driving the city's progress towards becoming a film hub and generating income for the community. The event also served as a platform for exchanging ideas on how to sustainably develop Pattaya into a UNESCO Creative Film City.
