The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development (DAST) and Pattaya City held a working group meeting to promote Pattaya's transformation into a creative film city.

         The Designated Area Office 3, in collaboration with Pattaya City, held a working group meeting to promote Pattaya's transformation into a Creative City of Film. The meeting was attended by Mr. Sutharak Sunthornvipat, Manager of Designated Area Office 3, Mr. Kris Phumisuvarn, Deputy Manager, and staff from Designated Area Office 3, along with relevant heads of departments from Pattaya City.

          The Office of Special Area Development 3 explained the guidelines for applying to become part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) and presented 5 strategies and 41 projects under the 5-year master plan (2023-2027) for developing Pattaya into a film city, based on the Ministry of Culture's study. The attendees were informed of these strategies and engaged in discussions on how to implement the projects for inclusion in the Pattaya city development plan.
