Sony Pictures Entertainment has partnered with Amazon Falls to open the world's first Columbia Pictures theme park and water park in Thailand.

The thrilling ride at "Columbia Pictures Aquaverse" is set to open this October.

Bang Saray, Thailand, April 7, 2021: Sony Pictures Entertainment, in partnership with Amazon Falls Ltd., announced a collaboration to bring the first Columbia Pictures-themed theme park and water park to Thailand, the first in the world, on a prime location of over 35 rai (approximately 10 acres). Bang Saray beach, just 20 minutes from Pattaya and 90 minutes from Bangkok, is the setting for Columbia Pictures' Aquaverse.

With numerous rides and attractions scheduled to open from October 2021 onwards, Columbia Pictures Aquaverse will be a unique tourist destination and entertainment hub, attracting movie fans and tourists from both within Thailand and around the world to experience cutting-edge rides and meet their favorite characters from timeless Hollywood films that have captivated fans of all ages, such as Ghostbusters, Jumanji, Bad Boys, Men in Black, and Hotel Transylvania.

Columbia Pictures Aquaverse features eight themed zones, offering a variety of water park and amusement park attractions to cater to visitors of all ages. In addition, there are many other exciting attractions such as spectacular live shows, virtual reality entertainment, interactive rides, uniquely designed park sets, delicious restaurants decorated in various movie themes, and a selection of exclusive souvenirs.

● The thrilling Men in Black Thrill Rides zone features all the adrenaline-fueled Aquaverse rides, including the gravity-defying Watercoaster, a heart-pounding 12-meter drop down the MIB Wormhole.

● The ultimate kid-friendly zone: Hotel Transylvania Kid-Friendly Zone. Welcome to the largest water park zone in Aquaverse! Glide down thrilling slides and enjoy over 100 exciting features, including a giant splash bucket, water rockets, and much more.

● Surf's Up in Surfers' Paradise: Unleash your energy and surf on giant waves, showing off your thrilling wave-riding skills with the spectacular FlowRider!

● Swallow Falls River Adventure Zone: Take a break and enjoy a relaxing Aquaverse journey, floating along the river and greeting the mutated Foodnimals from the hit animated film.

● Vivo Wave Pool: Relax in a pool where giant waves will crash over you. Inspired by the upcoming animated musical film, this zone is also used for events, concerts, and live shows by famous artists and world-class DJs.
