The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DAST) held a meeting with the Thai Film Archive (Public Organization) to discuss ways to promote Pattaya as a creative city in the field of film, via online system.

          The Designated Area Office 3 (DOA 3) held an online meeting with Ms. Chalida Uabamrungjit, Director of the Thai Film Archive (Public Organization), to discuss strategies for promoting Pattaya as a Creative City in the film sector. Mr. Sutharak Sunthornwipat, Manager of DOA 3, along with Mr. Kris Phumisuvarn, Deputy Manager, and other staff members participated in the meeting.

         At the meeting, the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development Region 3 (DASTDA Region 3) presented the results of discussions with relevant agencies regarding the advancement of Pattaya City towards membership in the Creative Cities Network for Film. Discussions also included the appointment of a working group to promote the Creative Cities Network for Film and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Ms. Chalida Uabamrungjit, Director of the Thai Film Archive (Public Organization), expressed her willingness to cooperate and suggested inviting government and private sector agencies to join the working group in order to create a collaborative network and achieve concrete results.

          The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Development Region 3 (DASTDA 3) will use the guidelines from this meeting to coordinate with relevant agencies in order to appoint a working group and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly drive Pattaya towards becoming a Creative City of Film.
