The Pattaya Tourism Authority of Thailand (PTA) held a meeting to discuss the draft application form for membership in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DASTA), represented by Ms. Watcharee Chooraksak, Deputy Director of DASTA, and Mr. Kris Phumisuvarn, Manager of DASTA Pattaya, collaborated with the Chonburi Provincial Cultural Office, led by Ms. Kanung Khailuenam, Provincial Cultural Officer, and Pattaya City, led by Dr. Siwat Boonkird, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City, along with heads of various departments of Pattaya City, to draft the Creative City application form. This is in preparation for applying for membership in the UNESCO Creative Cities for Film category in 2027. At Chessotel Pattaya. This meeting was honored by the participation of distinguished experts in creative cities for sustainable tourism, who shared their knowledge, experiences, and suggestions on how to prepare applications for the Creative Cities Network from various cities. These suggestions will serve as guidelines for Pattaya's future application.
