These include free film screenings, panel discussions and workshops, Director's Secrets sessions, exhibitions and demonstrations of filmmaking processes, as well as outdoor film screenings and a creative seaside market. The festival provides an opportunity for audiences, filmmakers, and industry professionals to meet, exchange ideas, and experience Pattaya through the lens of film. The Pattaya Tourism Authority (PTA) has invited experts in creative cities for sustainable tourism to observe and visit the festival's activities to exchange perspectives and learn about Pattaya's potential as a creative city.
This event reflects Pattaya's potential as a city of opportunity and creativity, using "film" as a powerful force to connect tourism, the creative economy, and people. It aims to propel Pattaya towards becoming a UNESCO Creative City for Film and to elevate its presence on national and international stages. The Red Carpet night is not just the beginning of the festival; it reflects a new dimension of Pattaya – a city ready to welcome audiences, filmmakers, and entertainers, inviting everyone to experience the "wave of film" throughout the nine-day festival and to return to Pattaya again next year.
